Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Clipping XO collects when you use clippingxo.com or contact us, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Who we are
Clipping XO runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@clippingxo.com.
What we collect and why
Forms and booking requests
When you send a brief or ask to book a call, we receive what you type: your name, email address, channel or website links, niche, priority markets, the plan you are interested in, your message and, for a booking request, how you want us to contact you (email or WhatsApp, with your number if you give it), your timezone and the times that suit you. We also record the page you sent it from and the time.
We use this to reply to you, arrange the call and prepare a proposal or statement of work if you ask for one. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. The website does not keep a copy: each submission is sent as an email to our inbox and is not stored anywhere else.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It records the pages you view, your approximate location (country and city level), your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and events such as "a form was submitted" together with the form type and the plan chosen. It never receives the content of a form: no names, emails, numbers or messages.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site. In the UK, analytics cookies used only for this purpose are allowed without consent under the statistical-purposes exemption in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (as amended in 2026), provided you are told about them and can object easily. You can object at any time: see "Your choices" below.
Hosting and security logs
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address, browser details and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and device; it is usually invisible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms free of spam.
Your choices
You can turn analytics off at any time with the button below, which also appears at the bottom of every page. It stops Google Analytics on this browser and deletes any analytics cookies we set. You can turn it back on the same way.
Your choice on this browser:
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and Google Analytics does not run. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on, which works on every site that uses Google Analytics.
No advertising, no selling
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing or Google signals, and our Google Analytics property is not linked to Google Ads or any other advertising product. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who helps us
We share personal information only with providers that process it for us:
- Google, for Google Analytics, and as our email provider (form and booking emails arrive in our inbox there)
- Cloudflare, for hosting, security, email forwarding and Turnstile
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, the transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum to them.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry and booking emails: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as contract, tax and accounting law requires.
- Google Analytics: event-level data is kept for 2 months; Google keeps aggregated reports.
- Hosting and security logs: as long as Cloudflare keeps them under its own policies, usually a short period.
Your rights
To use any of the rights below, email hello@clippingxo.com. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm who you are first. There is no charge.
United Kingdom and European Economic Area
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or to the data protection authority where you live in the EEA.
California and other US states
You can ask to know what we hold, to correct it and to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but we still honour Global Privacy Control as an opt-out signal. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
United Arab Emirates
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you can ask for information about how we process your data, and ask us to correct, delete or stop processing it.
India
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask for a summary of your data and how it is processed, ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it, raise a grievance with us, and nominate someone to act for you. Several of these duties take full effect on 13 May 2027; we already follow them. Send grievances to the same address.
Children
This site is for businesses and creators. It is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle information changes, and change the "Last updated" date at the top. This version is dated 24 October 2026.
